When I started out in War on my Zealot, there where a lot of times on destruction where I would be the lone healer or one of two, where as my Archmage would be one of many in the same settings. Now that I am leveling a new character I am seeing almost the exact opposite.

When I am on my Knight of the Blazing Sun, I see maybe one healer, and I am lucky if they are healing, where as on the chosen, there is an abundance of healers all healing. I respect people who roll healers because they are very much a selfless class, but I also think that this points to the fact that people playing War are righting the shortcomings of classes.

Coupling this with the fact that there are new classes on the horizon, it creates another prime time for people to level healers, who for the most part are a lot more reliant on others than others are reliant on them.

I totaly agree with you. On my server Gorfang, I play Destruction, the Order have a ton of Rune priests and Archmages if they are not those 2, warrior priests.I just hit T3 and we are getting stomped in scenario's due to this. Everyone is like "go for the healers", I do, but when 4 or 5 healers cross heal each other its like shooting test target dummies in WOW. I will roll a healer but I made a promise not to until I hit 40. I don't have time to level more than 2 toons.

I understand that feeling, I still think the prime time to roll one is when they release new classes. So many people jump to level one it is a nice time to get PL'ed with them.

I rolled a healer when I got tired of not getting any heals. It absolutely sucks to level a Shaman solo, but I'm up to 30, and I'm not dead yet.....

If you look at a Scenario that goes 500-40, or something silly like that.... you realize that the losing side usually didn't have a healer or two.

I think its a testament to how Mythic needs to set the Queue system to balance the sides level wise, AND archtype wise.

I do understand that, but putting favoritism for one class over another, I don’t agree with. I think you will be happy with your choice at 40 though. Healers are in high demand and you will get to see a lot of instances rather quickly.

It may not be the nice thing to do, but it would help.

How many times has a scenario gotten stalled out at 400-12 and the losing team just leaves, causing a scenario imbalance? Either the game is going to end on time, or it is going to cancel. Anyone who joins and sees that score is going to turn around and leave. Nobody wins in this situation.

Am I saying that every scenario should be close? Not at all. Should the game help facilitate fun....yeah. Does that mean the 85th Ironbreaker queued up for TA is going to get a little grumpy....yeah, it could happen.

Agreed, I do see that as a possible problem, and I really agree with the fact that when people see a score like that they are more than likely going to leave, but the balance issue will still be there. What if your healer leaves, then you are still at that disadvantage.

Really I would like to see something put in place of scenarios, or raise their scale like warband v. warband, and scale according to people who are queued. I think that would bring a bit more balance to the table, but I do understand your point.
