I have found that since I hit level cap I almost never do PQ's and I am starting to ask myself why? The first thing that comes to mind is finding people to do them. Unless people are leveling or we need to farm for X or Y item, people are not interested, and even when we do need to do the aforementioned items above, people still are not interested in doing them. For instance, last night a guildie discovered how to almost guarantee getting +20 permanent wounds/other stat tallies, so now we are on the hunt for a steady supply of mats for them. This is an instance where we will be farming PQ's for the mats needed, or getting the rings that use to drop in RVR that are not in bastion stair PQ's.

The next item for PQ's is people leveling. With the steady rise in people playing new toons, more and more people are taking to PQ's for EXP and items. This is great at lower levels because it provides you with an easy to finish way to gear out your character and get a huge EXP/influence boost. The problem is, as you get higher in level RR gear and items with wards take precedence, and the only PQ's that drop wards on that of Bastion Stair. So people fall to the wayside on them, additionally, they are not the best way to get exp.

So what can be done? Make PQ's offer better rewards, such as weapons, rings, belts items that don’t have wards that people need excellent options for. I think that would bring a lot more people out to doing the PQ's. With such a prevalence focused on wards at this current time, people need other options for their other slots.

I think it would also help if PQ loot bags dropped talisman making items. The apothecary vial and some cultivation mat are always there, but never a talisman making mat. And the silver that comes with the bag is always crap. 40 silver for a T4 green bag? I know they want to avoid making the monetary reward more attractive than the gear/material rewards, but a little more silver or (gasp!) a couple gold pieces would be appreciated.

I think that would be something to consider, maybe a green fragment out of a green bag, blue out of a blue and a purple out of a gold, but make it random if it comes in the bag. As for the money...40 silver is a joke, you can make that in the time it takes to farm the PQ...so.

I thought the ruin gear from chapter 22 PQs had wards on them, or am I mis-remembering?

Nope, they are just mid-30's sets with no wards.
