So I went back into the vale this weekend. Well by went back I mean I finally went in after about 2 months of not doing anything in it. More over, I went in with a group that had been doing it together for quite a while but had lost their off tank and wanted someone else to fill the spot hence me. So now I have a full time LV group which is awesome, even more awesome, I was mopping up on loot this weekend. A new 2 hander, shield, 2 new cloaks, and darkpromise gloves.

All of that and one boss still to go N'kara, so maybe I will make out with my chest piece. It was a good run, and I am enjoying myself with this group that I am with. I have now seen more of the Vale then I had seen before. I know a lot of the encounters that I had only seen on videos; all in all it was a good time.

Things to note for tanks in the Vale. Wards are your friend. I was off tanking with 3, and got lucky and picked up my helm yesterday before we went back for Seecher, but with a good MT you should be fine with 3. Wounds, initiative, and resistances are critical. There are a lot of magic casting mobs as well as some extremely hard hitting physical damage mobs in this zone. Mitigating that damage by reducing crits, having a bigger buffer, or reducing magical damage is very important. I would highly recommend putting your points accordingly.

It was well worth the respec and now I am having a good time again. This zone is huge, and needs mounts in it, hint hint, Mythic.
