So I have lost my enthusiasm to play War, 5 40's several different servers, all of PVE endgame. I took a break from our planned events last night on my knight and I am felling less and less inclined to log back in. I know many others have gone through this, how do you get through this. What makes you come back day after day?

I don't. I became one of the "canceled but monitoring" crowd in late January and am still monitoring the game, but am not motivated to rejoin it. I still haven't found another game to sink my teeth into, so it's possible I'll rejoin, but that gets less likely each day.

Well the big thing I am looking forward to is DF2, but, there is always a but, there are still a lot of issues that Mythic needs to address before pushing additional content when the current content is kinda borked.

I play with my guild, it's usually always been my main reason for staying. There is also an insane amount of Open RvR on Karak Eight Peaks. It's the guild that drives me on, for better or worse.

Well after 3 toons to 40/60 2 order, 1 destro i still love it. There are alot of different classes i want to and i learn a bit each time. My destro toon, a SH, i really learned from. On my order toons i now keep a close eye on them. The end game PvE is ok but since the server merges my server is pack, open RvR is great

I focused on roleplay, but I know that doesn't work for everyone. Trying a new class or focusing on your guild are good ways. As prolific as your blog has been in such a short time, I'd also suggest taking a posting break. Sometimes living and breathing a game can be a killer. Take a few days off completely from war and then give it another go around.

@Ainilome: Acctually I really only write on here during my workday during free time. So it is not that big of a deal and TBH I have quite a bit of fun doing it.

@Lesildur: For the most part of my playing experience in any game I have had decent guilds, and I agree that focusing on them is good, but I do think that it might be part of it. The guild I am currently in is very much a "I want to be hardcore" guild and I have a life outside of the game and they don't understand when I don't log in for a day or so. So it might be time for a change.

@anon: Same as above, I do have several 40's at this point. I do want to play a choppa, but running the same content over and over becomes a bore. I do like the servers I predominately play on and the most fun I have had in a while was me and a buddy twinking some T1 alts on DC and running around.

I don't really do any PvE. I'm quasi-looking for a Lost Vale group, but with domination, and fortresses being taken, I don't really see much need for it if the drops are good. I try to do as little PvE as humanly possible. For instance, your post above this about the rez-pots. You see it as a frustration to fighting bosses in LV, I see it and am overjoyed because it means people won't be able to Ninja-rez when attacking a fortress lord.

@Shadowwar: I know that is why they put it into the game, but a good chunk of endgame is PVE dependent in the current form. Yes, oRVR is becoming a lot more viable to gear up, but PVE is still faster. So when stuck with the options, that is what happens, but I do have to say most of the fun I have is small group oRVR stuff.
