I have a lvl 24 BG tank and in PvE she is proving very hard to kill, in RvR if i have a good healer with me i can out last most other tanks. What u got to look at is the skills u get and if if u want to tank toughness is the way to go. Why? well because u get a skill that when u use hatefully strike it improves ur toughness by a % of how much hate u have and as any BG knows most of the time u r spamming that skill

It is actually really nice. The best way that I would think of it is that it is very PVE heavy with lots of instances to run, and only raid instances are on a timer for the most part. There are tons of PUG groups and even a lot of PUG raids that are very successful. I have yet to get board with it and I have not seen all of endgame yet. What server did you start on?

Thanks all, Shadowwar you are right 6 months is calling it a bit short and I am sure that in a year to so the game will be an A list game to be playing, but I want to wait for consolidations and some smoothing out of endgame before I pick it backup.

As for WOW, you could not pay me to play that game again...All I will say about that.

It's sad that you feel this way, maybe one day you'll come back to what is essentially a decent game. It still has some teething problems but at least the guys and gals at Mythic seem to understand this and want to sort them out.

@Shadowwar: I know that is why they put it into the game, but a good chunk of endgame is PVE dependent in the current form. Yes, oRVR is becoming a lot more viable to gear up, but PVE is still faster. So when stuck with the options, that is what happens, but I do have to say most of the fun I have is small group oRVR stuff.

I don't really do any PvE. I'm quasi-looking for a Lost Vale group, but with domination, and fortresses being taken, I don't really see much need for it if the drops are good. I try to do as little PvE as humanly possible. For instance, your post above this about the rez-pots. You see it as a frustration to fighting bosses in LV, I see it and am overjoyed because it means people won't be able to Ninja-rez when attacking a fortress lord.

@Ainilome: Acctually I really only write on here during my workday during free time. So it is not that big of a deal and TBH I have quite a bit of fun doing it.

@Lesildur: For the most part of my playing experience in any game I have had decent guilds, and I agree that focusing on them is good, but I do think that it might be part of it. The guild I am currently in is very much a "I want to be hardcore" guild and I have a life outside of the game and they don't understand when I don't log in for a day or so. So it might be time for a change.

@anon: Same as above, I do have several 40's at this point. I do want to play a choppa, but running the same content over and over becomes a bore. I do like the servers I predominately play on and the most fun I have had in a while was me and a buddy twinking some T1 alts on DC and running around.

I focused on roleplay, but I know that doesn't work for everyone. Trying a new class or focusing on your guild are good ways. As prolific as your blog has been in such a short time, I'd also suggest taking a posting break. Sometimes living and breathing a game can be a killer. Take a few days off completely from war and then give it another go around.

I don't. I became one of the "canceled but monitoring" crowd in late January and am still monitoring the game, but am not motivated to rejoin it. I still haven't found another game to sink my teeth into, so it's possible I'll rejoin, but that gets less likely each day.
